Whether you’re a visitor to our fair city or a long-time resident, you want to find exciting new things to do in Riverside, California. If you’re a visitor, obviously you might not be familiar with our unique attractions. Or if you’re a resident, you might want to try something off the beaten path.
The City of Riverside offers a comprehensive guide to things to do. The list is quite long, so we won’t go over everything! But we did highlight a few of our favorites from the 101 Things to Do in Arts & Culture below:
Artscape: Located at the County Administrative Center, Artscape is part of the Riverside Arts Council’s Art in Public Places Program. There, you’ll find rotating exhibits of work from talented local artists.
California Citrus State Historic Park: Visit the park to learn the role that citrus fruit has played in California’s history, view demonstration groves, and participate in the activity center. The Citrus State Historic Park is a fun and educational experience for all ages.
Downtown Farmers Market: Open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Riverside Downtown Farmers Market is the perfect place to get the freshest and most delicious fruits, vegetables, cheese, and other goods. The Market is located on Main Street between 5th and 6th streets.
Mission Inn Museum: Both hotel and historical landmark, the Mission Inn offers guided tours of its art, architecture, and history. The inn was built in the early twentieth century and is an exciting trip back in time for history buffs young and old.
