There’s nothing quite like enjoying a cool summer evening with friends and family. The great weather and company make for a wonderful time. And Riverside offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy outdoor activities with loved ones, including festivals, summer concerts, and more!
This summer, the Riverside Downtown Partnership and the City of Riverside Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department join together to offer Riverside residents a series of free family movies.
Families are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets and enjoy a picnic dinner during the showing. The Movies on Main series is a great alternative to watching movies in the theater, and it’s free!
The movies shown will all be rated G or PG, making them perfect for the younger crowd. Each movie in the series will be shown on the Main Street Pedestrian Mall on Thursday evenings. The movies are scheduled to begin at dusk, approximately 6:30 p.m., and end at 10 p.m.
