For a fun, family-friendly, and challenging activity, participate in the Riverside Raincross 5K Run/Walk! This 5K will offer an exciting fitness opportunity while recognizing the community heroes of Riverside.
The 8th annual 5K Run/Walk will take place this February in historic Fairmont Park. The run/walk provides something for all ages. Adults can challenge themselves on the 5K course, which offers scenic views of the park. Kids can join the Kids’ Heroes Run. The whole family can visit the Family Fitness Fair, which will feature a variety of vendors.
To register for the run/walk, visit your local community center, or register online at http://www.riversideca.gov/park_rec/. Registration costs $25 for the 5K Run/Walk and $15 for the Kids’ Heroes Run. The event begins on February 23rd at 8 a.m. and will end at 11 a.m.
