“A warrant is a description of the document that the court has issued demanding that you’d be brought before a judge to face a criminal charge. A warrant usually carries a bail amount with it to avoid having to spend time in jail before you go to see a judge.
If you post the bail, the bond excuses you from seeing that judge and requires you to come and see the judge on another date. In other words, you get out of custody.
