Charles Kenyon is a former Deputy District Attorney and is the newest partner at Greenberg, Greenberg & Kenyon APLC. He has certainly seen and done it all with his extensive experience from both sides – prosecution and defense.
Mr. Kenyon has litigated over 300 preliminary hearings and has 100+ criminal trials under his belt, making him the firm’s most experienced trial lawyer. His trial experience spans virtually all areas of criminal law, but notably includes Homicides, Vehicular Homicides & DUIs, Sexual Offenses, Domestic Violence, and Gang Cases. During his early career as a prosecutor, he earned the rare distinction by winning both the Misdemeanor and Felony Prosecutor of the Year Awards. He ended his prosecuting career as a Senior Deputy District Attorney and Trial Team Leader, overseeing and mentoring a team of felony prosecutors.
His work on the defense side is equally distinguished. He has been repeatedly selected by L.A., Orange County, and Inland Empire Magazines to their annual list of Top Criminal Defense Lawyers. Among fellow attorneys and police officers, Charles Kenyon’s expertise is widely recognized and he has taught State Bar Certified courses on Gang Law, Witness Testimony, Trial Techniques, and Plea Bargains. He has also been a guest lecturer and taught trial advocacy at Pepperdine & Chapman School of Law. Charles Kenyon brings years of experience to the firm to zealously defend his clients.
